Unconventional Interview Questions

Interviewing the applicants is one of the most important parts of the recruitment process because this is when the recruiter can know the applicants better. Your HR team should develop a set of questions that will help them further evaluate the applicants. Instead of the usual questions that can be answered by their resumes, ask questions that will truly make the applicants think and allow them to show their identity more.

Present the Job Description Clearly

Your recruiters should also know how to clearly deliver the job description of a certain position. This way, applicants will know what they’re getting into to avoid confusion in the long run. They should describe each duties and responsibilities in a clear, concise, and compelling way. If the applicants have any question regarding the job, your HR team should be equipped to answer them all.

Discuss Employee Rights and Benefits

Once they find the best candidate to fill in the job, your HR team must then present the job offer and everything that comes with it. This should be meticulously planned because a contract is a legal agreement. Aside from the salary, your HR team should also thoroughly discuss the benefits and employee rights in NZ that your company provides.

Any company that wants to flourish needs a team of dedicated and capable recruiters that can find the best candidates and welcome them to the company. Make sure your HR practitioners are effective in delivering these three things.
